L IS FOR LIFE

SIX LIMERICKS ON LIFE

A limerick is a poem that’s five lines long, with a rhyming scheme that goes ‘AABBA’ (which means that lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyme, and lines 3 and 4 rhyme).  Lines 3 and 4 are usually shorter than the other lines.  And limericks usually have an “anapaestic” metre, which means they have three syllables to each stress (DUM-di-di DUM-di-di), but this is by no means essential.

Here are my six limericks in answer to the question, what is life?  My guess is that you could do better.  Please have a go, and please send me your results.
